Why Don't People Trust Christians? - A Christian's Confession, Reflection, and a Notebook to Share My Faith Journey

I recently came across a question on Quora: "Why don't most people trust Christians to be honest and moral?" This question led me to deep introspection. As a Christian, I want to give an honest answer to this question.

  1. ImperfectHumans, Imperfect Christians

No one is perfect, and this applies to Christians as well. We all make mistakes and sometimes act selfishly. We are all sinners, constantly exposed to temptation.

However, Christianity doesn't demand perfection. Instead, it teaches us to acknowledge our weaknesses and rely on God's grace. Jesus was crucified for our sins, and through His sacrifice, we can be forgiven and live a new life.

  1. Discrepancy Between Faith and Actions

Sadly, some Christians' actions don't align with their faith. They preach love and forgiveness in church but may promote discrimination and hatred in the real world. This damages the values of Christianity and disappoints people.

To address this issue, I believe Christians must first acknowledge their wrongdoings and repent. We must live a life of love and justice, following Jesus' teachings.

  1. Transformation Through Faith

Through my faith, I strive to learn and practice honesty and morality. I have my shortcomings, but I'm constantly working to become a better person through experiencing Jesus' love and forgiveness.

I start my day with quiet time and prayer. In particular, writing down scriptures, meditating, and praying in my self-designed Christian-themed notebook gives me great strength. Through this practice, I experience Jesus' love and grace more deeply, gaining the strength to keep my faith even in life's difficulties.

My personal transformation has confirmed the power of Christian faith to change people. Not every Christian experiences the same change as I have, but I believe that those who truly believe in and follow Jesus can experience positive change.

If you, like me, want to grow your faith through meditation and prayer, why not try using my notebook? With its beautiful design and practical features, it will be a great help in your devotional life.

Conclusion:

I don't believe this post will completely resolve the doubts about Christians' honesty and morality. However, I hope that through my honest confession and reflection, I can help clear up some misunderstandings about Christian faith.

If you have any further questions about Christian faith, please feel free to leave a comment or message. I will do my best to answer within my knowledge.

Prayer:

God, I pray that we Christians may become the light and salt of the world. May our lives reveal Your love and justice, and may we live a life that brings hope to the world. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
